CINCINNATI — UC's top 2023 target, Isaiah Collier, is making his college decision on Nov. 16, and he recently sat down for a long-form feature with Sports Illustrated's Jason Jordan. The Georgia native is arguably the best prospect in the country, and we have more on his game here.

Collier and his family broke down all four finalists (UC, USC, Michigan, UCLA) in the piece and had great things to say about Wes Miller's pitch.

Miller and UC bring the energy, history, and system that Collier wants, but the biggest hang-up is the track record. Miller has never signed a top-25 recruit.

“That’s not to be negative at all—Wes is a great coach,” Collier's uncle and high school coach Larry Thompson said in the piece. “It’s just a legitimate question since we haven’t seen it.”

The matriarch of the family agrees on the biggest dilemma with choosing UC, but Collier also recognized that may be why UC is pursuing him so heavily. Miller knows Collier will change everything heading into the Big 12.

“It’s just really an important decision,” Collier's mother Chandra said. “That’s legitimate. You just don’t know how they would handle a player like you if they’ve never had a player like you.”

“I feel like that’s why they go so hard,” Collier concluded.

There wasn't a clear lean towards any of the four programs, although Collier did say he wants to be close with the whole staff, and two programs are beating the others on that front: USC and Michigan
