CINCINNATI — The Bearcats are at full strength.

Another shoe fell in the legal battle between Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost and other state AGs against the NCAA as a federal court granted a temporary restraining order in the case.

That permits current basketball players like Jamille Reynolds the right to play in basketball games while the rest of the case plays out. The temporary restraining order is valid for 14 days and at that time the court will rule on a permanent TRO moving forward.

The Bearcats' big man can now get on the court against Dayton this Saturday if the program deems him ready and has all of its boxes checked on that end.

"Given today’s temporary restraining order issued by Judge John Preston Bailey, we are evaluating the situation as it pertains to men’s basketball student-athlete Jamille Reynolds," The university said in a statement. "We are consulting with our legal counsel, our compliance office and our league office. We will have further updates as they become available.

Reynolds lost roughly 50 pounds this offseason to get in fantastic shape and impact UC's first season in the Big 12. With how well the rest of UC's frontcourt trio (Viktor Lakhin, Ody Oguama, and Aziz Bandaogo) is playing, the Bearcats now boasts one of the best big men units in the country.

Cincinnati could use his offensive versatility in the front-court and now has multiple games to get him up to speed before Big 12 play tips off on Jan. 6.
