In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bearcats dropped Saturday's contest 75-57 to TCU in a must-win situation.

Check out the Good, Bad, and Ugly from UC's worst scoring margin in conference play this season.

The Good: Day Day Thomas put up some big minutes for the Bearcats in the loss to the Horned Frogs. He shot 4-of-9 from the field and put together 13 points and 2 assists. He was very careful with the ball only having 2 turnovers in a hostile environment.

The Bad: They lost the assist battle yet again. The Horned Frogs out-assisted the Bearcats 18-13 (nine UC assists in the first half). This is an ongoing issue in Bearcats losses.

The Ugly: Free throw shooting. They had a poor percentage compared to the Horned Frogs, which hurt them in the end. They HAVE to be more consistent at the line. The Bearcats shot 8-of-14 compared to the Horned Frogs' 14-of-15 mark from the line. It was also a rare rebounding loss for Cincinnati (33-32).
