ESPN's Matt Miller Ranks Tyler Scott Among 30 Best 2023 NFL Draft Picks

The analyst thinks Chicago got a steal by picking Scott.

CINCINNATI — ESPN's Matt Miller released his 100 favorite picks from the 2023 NFL Draft, and new Chicago Bear Tyler Scott checked in at No. 27.

Chicago selected Scott in the fourth round a little less than 100 spots higher than Miller's pre-draft ranking for Scott (57th overall).

"The selection of Scott at No. 133 was one of the best value picks when graded against my pre-draft rankings, where I had him No. 57 overall," Miller wrote. "Scott's speed and vertical ability will work well in a wide receiver room that offers diverse skill sets, and his ability as a return man will also boost the Chicago special teams unit."

Scott and Tre Tucker are joining former UC wide receiver Alec Pierce in the NFL next season. Scott could be an instant contributor on a thin Bears receiving unit.
