Report: Tre Tucker Visits With Cincinnati Bengals Before 2023 NFL Draft

Cincinnati could use a late-round pick on the speedster.

CINCINNATI — Former UC star wide receiver Tre Tucker has taken a pre-draft meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals at his Pro Day and visited them another time. 

Aaron Wilson reported the news as Tucker looks to get drafted alongside best friend and fellow playmaker Tyler Scott.

Tucker is the consensus 192nd-ranked player in the draft and the 24th-ranked receiver on Dane Brugler's big board.

"Tucker has the play speed and toughness over the middle to win as a gadget/slot, but his small catch radius is a potential roadblock that might limit his NFL role," Brugler wrote in his draft guide for The Athletic. "His special teams impact as a returner and on coverages (15 special teams tackles in college) could be his saving grace to sticking on an NFL roster."

The receiver is a projected sixth-round pick after posting 52 catches for 672 yards and 3 touchdowns last season.
