CINCINNATI — The Bearcats will play the Nebraska Cornhuskers after all.

Cincinnati's home-and-home series with Nebraska was scheduled to begin in 2020, but it didn't happen due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been rescheduled according to FBSchedules.com

The Bearcats will host the Cornhuskers at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on Aug. 30, 2025. It will be the season-opener for both schools. That's considered Cincinnati's home game.

They'll travel to Lincoln to play the Cornhuskers at Memorial Stadium on Sept. 11, 2032.

The Bearcats are also not playing Western Kentucky in 2025 and 2026. They were scheduled to visit the Hilltoppers in 2025 and then host WKU in 2026, but Cincinnati is buying out of the home-and-home series. UC will also no longer be traveling to Athens to play Ohio University in 2026.

Cincinnati is aiming to create new slates with these moves that maximize competitive goals and secure as many non-conference home games as possible against strong competition.
