Report: Cincinnati Signs Apparel Deal to Wear Jordan Brand and Nike
CINCINNATI — Jordan Brand is returning to the University of Cincinnati.
The Bearcats have agreed to a new apparel deal will bring the Jordan Brand back to Cincinnati according to Justin Williams of The Athletic.
Men's and Women's basketball will wear Jordan and all other sports, including football, will wear Nike.
Williams reports that the new deal will go into effect on July 1 and include all uniforms for the 2023-24 season.
That means the Bearcats will wear Jordan Brand for their first season in the Big 12 and for the first time since 2006.
The University of Cincinnati and Under Armour worked out an early termination agreement since their contract was supposed to run through 2024.
Fans are expected to be able to purchase Nike and Jordan Brand gear later this year.
