CINCINNATI — Colorado's reportedly the latest school to move to the Big 12. Action Network's Brett McMurphy announced the Buffs are joining the league in 2024 as full-fledged media share recipients.

"CU will receive full Big 12 share ($31.7M) from ESPN/Fox media deal. Buffs left because of Big 12 stability & Pac-12’s uncertainty," McMurphy tweeted. "Announcement Thursday."

UPDATE: The Buffs are officially headed to the Big 12 after a decade-plus away.

The conference may expand further, but Colorado and Arizona were reported by The Swain Show last month as two of the first teams to enter after Oklahoma and Texas join the SEC. No official word about Arizona has come down as of this writing.

Colorado was an original Big 12 member in 1994 and left for the Pac-12 in 2010.
