CINCINNATI — One of UC's top targets in the 2024 basketball class is announcing his commitment on Oct. 6. Four-star 2024 power forward Tyler Betsey out of St. Thomas More (Connecticut) is rolling with his top school next week.

UConn, Creighton, Alabama, Duke, Indiana, and Villanova were all in his top seven this August. This announcement could be a great sign for UC, who just had Betsey in for a visit during Oklahoma weekend a few days ago.

According to 247Sports, Betsey is the 32nd-ranked player nationally and the seventh-ranked power forward.

He holds 27 offers from schools like Alabama, UConn, and Auburn.

UC offered him back in May of this year. Click here for more on his game.
