Three-Star 2024 Linebacker Simeon Coleman Commits to Cincinnati

Cincinnati has added a flurry of players as the spring period closes.

CINCINNATI — UC notched its sixth 2024 commitment this month in three-star linebacker Simeon Coleman out of St. Frances Academy (Maryland).

According to 247Sports, Coleman is the 944th-ranked player nationally and the 91st-ranked linebacker. He chose Cincinnati among a group of 20 offers.

Coleman was in attendance at the 2023 Spring Game and committed right after like a few other players, namely four-star linebacker Qua Birdsong.

UC's class is up to 22nd nationally on 247Sports with the signing.

Coleman has to stack some weight on his growing 6-foot-10, 210-pound frame but the instincts are there as a middle linebacker. He reads passer's eyes very well in the middle of the field and has nice wrap-and-tackle fundamentals.

The sophomore also reads rushing lanes quickly and just brings a noticeable pop on hits.
