UC Football Loses Commitment From 2024 Three-Star Edge Rusher Josiah Knight

Cincinnati now has nine commitments in the class.

CINCINNATI — UC football lost its first 2024 commitment on Tuesday after three-star edge rusher Josaiah Knight out of Gadsden County (Florida) re-opened his recruitment.

According to On3, Knight is the 818th-ranked player nationally and the 55th-ranked edge rusher.

He held 12 offers from schools like Georgia Tech and Florida State before committing to Cincinnati. UC had 10 commits and a top-20 247Sports class ranking before losing Knight.

The junior was UC's fifth-highest-rated recruit.
