UC Lands Commitment From 2024 Three-Star Linebacker Monday Weedon

The player moved Cincinnati to 13 2024 hard commits.

CINCINNATI — UC football added a second talent to the 2024 recruiting class after official visits this past weekend. 2024 three-star linebacker Montay Weedon out of St. John's (Maryland) ic rolling with UC.

Virginia Tech, Florida State, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Texas, Maryland, and Indiana were also candidates but Cincinnati won out.

According to On3, Weedon is the 925th-ranked player nationally and the 97th-ranked linebacker. He is one of three players in the 13-player class without a 247Sports ranking right now. Cincinnati's class sits at 35th nationally now after a pair of weekend commits

Weedon is a great hitter who can wrap bigger players in the open field at 6-foot-1, 210 pounds.

He plays with unbridled intensity on each clip and is always in the middle of the action at the line of scrimmage. Weedon also showed some nice punt-blocking skills.
