Three Things Georgia Can Prove in Saturday's Game Against Vanderbilt

While winning should always be the top priority, here are three things the Bulldogs can accomplish on Saturday

The No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs will hit the road for just the second time this season as they travel to Nashville, Tennessee to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores. Given that the Bulldogs are massive favorites heading into this game, many believe that simply winning would not be a satisfactory performance. With that, here are three things the Bulldogs should look to accomplish on Saturday.

1. The Offense is in Full Swing

After a questionable outing against the Auburn Tigers a few weeks ago, the Bulldogs responded with their best offensive performance against the Kentucky Wildcats. Another massive showing on the offensive side of the ball could not only maintain current momentum but could also solidify the Bulldogs as one of the top offensive attacks in the country.

2. The Bulldogs Play Well Anytime, Any Place

So far, the Bulldogs' 2023 schedule hasn't featured many road trips or early kicks. And while Vanderbilt is certainly not one of the toughest places to play, a strong performance away from Athens would hammer home that this year's Bulldogs team can play at their best, regardless of the environment.

3. Saturday's Win Over Kentucky Wasn't a Fluke

Before the 51-13 drumming the Dawgs handed Kentucky last week, Georgia had been subject to a fair amount of criticism for their less-than-stellar play. While Vanderbilt may not be as quality of an opponent as other teams, a dominant win on both sides of the ball this Saturday will prove that this year's Bulldogs team is the real deal.
