Georgia Tech Baseball lands Georgia State transfer Cam Jones
Georgia Tech Baseball landed a versatile two-way player out of the transfer portal today.
Georgia State pitcher/outfielder Cam Jones announced on Twitter today that he would be taking his talents to Georgia Tech and he will be trying to bring the Yellow Jackets back to the postseason in 2024.
Three-time, first-team All-Sun Belt Conference selection ... Four-year letterwinner as a right-handed hitting outfielder-first baseman and left-handed pitcher. Career batting average of .341 with eight homers, 75 RBI and 106 runs ... Ranks second in program history with 50 career stolen bases ... Has seven career wins and seven saves (Top 10 in school history). Career ERA 4.02 is the third lowest mark among GSU pitchers with at least 100 innings. Pitched an immaculate inning in his first collegiate appearance in 2020.
