Georgia Tech Basketball Announces ACC Media Day Representatives
ACC Basketball Media Days are set to take place next in Charlotte and today, Georgia Tech announced the representatives they will be sending.
Joining Damon Stoudamire will be guards Lance Terry and Miles Kelly, two of Georgia Tech's leaders on the court this season.
Kelly averaged 14.8 PPG and got in double figures in 25 games during this past season, including setting his career high in a single game with 30 points against Syracuse on February 28th. He also set the program record for free throw shooting percentage (89.83%) in a single season. He averaged 14.6 minutes per game as a freshman during the 2021-2022 season and shot 40.7% from the floor and 34.7% from three-point range. He was the leading scorer for Georgia Tech last season.
Stoudamire has talked about how big it was for the team this season that Kelly is coming back:
"I think that was big. I think he has an NBA jump shot and I think that he is an NBA player and I think that he will have a great junior year for us here at Tech and I think that is something to build on."
Terry was the second leading scorer for Georgia Tech last season at 10.1 PPG and he also led the team in three-point field goal percentage at 38.8%.
Georgia Tech tips off its 2023-2024 regular seasonal home against Georgia Southern on November 6th at 7:30 p.m. ET.
