Odds To Win The 2023 ACC Tournament Championship Released
The College Basketball regular season is now over and the 2023 ACC Tournament is one day away from starting.
Miami shared the regular season title with Virginia, but the Hurricanes will get the top seed due to their victory over the Cavaliers this season. Clemson and Duke are the other teams earning a double bye this week at the Tournament.
So who is Vegas favoring to win this year's ACC Tournament?
While Miami might be the No. 1 seed, they are not the favorites in the latest odds provided by Caesar's Sportsbook and the Action Network.
Duke is the odds-on favorite to win this year's ACC Tournament at +270. The Blue Devils have been playing well down the stretch and have as much talent as any roster in the ACC.
Virginia and Miami are tied for second-best odds at +350.
The fourth-best odds to win the Tournament might surprise you.
The North Carolina Tar Heels might be the team that everyone is watching at the Tournament this year. UNC was close to winning the national title last season and brought back a large part of the group that did that. Things have not clicked for UNC this season, but at +700 odds, there is the belief they can make noise. It might take an ACC Championship for them to get into the NCAA tournament.
Clemson is also at +700 and they are in need of a tournament run to lock up their spot in the big dance. NC State (+1200) and Pitt (+1600) are in the next tier of teams before there is a drop-off.
Wake Forest (+2500), Virginia Tech (+3500), and Syracuse (+7500) all have first-round byes, but it seems unlikely that any of them will make a significant run (famous last words).
The bottom of the ACC odds looks like this: Florida State (+20000), Boston College and Georgia Tech (+30000), and Notre Dame and Louisville (+50000).
Georgia Tech comes into this year's ACC Tournament playing pretty well, winning three straight and five of their last seven. The Yellow Jackets last won the ACC Tournament back in 2021.
The Yellow Jackets will face Florida State in the first round tomorrow at 2:00 p.m.
