Georgia Tech Football Weekly Recruiting Update: 5/22

Georgia Tech is working to build its 2024 class this summer

It is almost June and for college football recruiting that means official visits are going to be underway and programs are going to be recruiting non-stop through the summer and through the season. Georgia Tech, they are working towards building the next class under Brent Key, which will be his first full summer recruiting as a head coach.ย

Let's break down the week that was in Georgia Tech Recruiting.ย

1. Three-star 2024 tight end and Tulane commit Traville Fredrick Jr (Jeanerette, LA) receives an offer from Georgia Tech

Georgia Tech does not have a tight end committed for the 2024 class currently and Fredrick Jr is an intriguing prospect. He is a three-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite and is ranked as the 767th player in the country and the No. 34 tight end.

2. 2026 Athlete Gavin Hall receives an offer from Georgia Tech

3. 2026 Defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright (Buford, GA) receives an offer from Georgia Tech

2026 defensive lineman Bryce-Perry Wright (Buford, GA) has plenty of D1 offers already and one of the latest was from Key and the Yellow Jackets. Other offers include Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, USC, Texas A&M, and South Carolina, among others.ย

4. 2025 LB Kenyon Rivera (Buford, GA) receives an offer from Georgia Tech

Rivera was another prospect from Buford that picked up an offer from GT. Rivera is a 2025 prospect who already has offers from Indiana, Kansas State, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Pitt, Missouri, Texas, Texas A&M, and UCF, among others.ย

5. Former Notre Dame and Idaho linebacker Paul Moala commits to Georgia Tech

Moala started his career as a three-star recruit (247Sports) from Mishawaka, IN. He played for three seasons as a member of the Fighting Irish, totaling 22 tackles. He transferred to Idaho last season and had a career-high 44 tackles, two sacks, and three interceptions.ย

6. 2025 Prospect Evan Haynes receives anย offer from Georgia Tech

7. 2024 Four-Star Running Back Nate Frazier (Mater Dei, CA) receives an offer from Georgia Tech

Frazier had unofficial visits to Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee in the month of April and is going to be highly sought after in this recruiting class by multiple schools. He also holds offers from Ole Miss, Texas A&M, Miami, and Auburn, among several others.

It is likely a long shot that Georgia Tech can make any serious run in this recruitment, but with zero running backs committed in this class, Brent Key and the rest of the staff are offering a top prospect in the class and hoping to make some headway.

8. 2024 Defensive lineman Chris Stokes (Dallas, GA) receives an offer from Georgia Techย

Stokes has other offers from East Carolina and Western Kentucky.ย

9. 2024 Offensive lineman Elijah Walker receives an offer from Georgia Tech

Walker (Daytona Beach, FL) also has offers from Iowa State, Penn State, Pitt, and UCF, among others.ย

10. 2024 three-star Wide receiverย Sanfrisco Magee receives an offer from Georgia Tech

Magee (Mccomb, MS) also has offers from Louisville, Mississippi State, Nebraska, Ole Miss, and Tulane, among others.ย

11. 2025 Four-star running back Alvin Henderson receives an offer from Georgia Techย

Henderson (Elba, AL) also has offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Michigan, Michigan State, NC State, Notre Dame, and North Carolina, among others.ย
