Talented 2026 wide receiver Deion Thomas will visit Georgia Tech this weekend

Thomas is already racking up offers early in his recruiting process

It might sound crazy to be talking about recruits in the 2026 recruiting class, but a really talented player with a bright future is going to be at Georgia Tech. 

Deion Thomas, who plays at Westlake High School (GA), announced on social media earlier today that he is going to be visiting the Yellow Jackets this weekend. Thomas and teammate Travis Smith Jr received an offer from Georgia Tech back in June and before the dead period returns in August, Thomas will be back in Atlanta. 

Other offers that Thomas has received include Georgia, Texas A&M, Colorado, Duke, Tulane, UAB, UCF, and FAU. At 6'3 195 LBS, Thomas is going to be a prospect to watch in the coming years and one that the Yellow Jackets coaching staff has clearly made a priority. 

Georgia Tech currently holds a top 25 class in 2024 and they made a big addition to it yesterday. Three-star offensive tackle Jameson Riggs committed to Georgia Tech over Clemson and Auburn yesterday and he became the 24th commitment in the Yellow Jackets class.
