Georgia Tech has seen a rise in the ACC in recruiting this offseason

The month of June is over and it was a big month across the ACC.

Starting with Georgia Tech, the Yellow Jackets added 13 commitments this month and now sit with the 5th-ranked class in the ACC, behind Clemson, Florida State, North Carolina, and Pitt. That is a nice rise in the past week and Brent Key and the Yellow Jackets staff have to be pleased with where they are at, but there is still work to be done and some top targets are still on the board.

Georgia Tech pulled in two four-star commitments (Edge CJ Jackson and WR Koby Young) this month and added other talented players as well.

The Tigers still hold the top ranking in the conference and they are 14 points above 2nd place Florida State. It was a great month of June for Dabo Swinney and Clemson as they look to remain on top in the ACC.

FSU added two four-star commitments yesterday and those two prospects sent the Seminoles up in the conference rankings. Florida State still has work left to do if they want to catch the Tigers in this year's class.

North Carolina remains third and Pitt has dropped back to 4th. The Panthers hold a slim margin over Georgia Tech for the 4th spot in the ACC.

Duke, Miami, and Virginia Tech make up spots 6-8. Duke and Miami are close to catching Pitt and Georgia Tech and could do so with a couple of more additions.

Wake Forest, Syracuse, and Louisville are 9-11 and the Cardinals have dropped quite a bit over the last couple of weeks. They were 8th just a week ago, but there is still plenty of time for new head coach Jeff Brohm to pick up more commitments.

Virginia, NC State, and Boston College make up the final three in the rankings and not much changed for any of these three programs during the month of June.
