ACC Football: Conference Championship Odds Heading Into Week Eight

Florida State and North Carolina have started to create some separation in the ACC

The ACC is starting to look like a two-team race if you look at the sports books.

On Caesar's Sportsbook, Florida State has remained the clear favorite in the ACC, but North Carolina has now emerged as the clear No. 2 choice behind the Seminoles. With Louisville and Miami both losing last week, it is starting to look like the conference might be heading for a big matchup between the Tar Heels and the Seminoles at season's end.

Not if Duke has anything to say about it though.

The Blue Devils are the one other team besides FSU and UNC that is still unbeaten in ACC play. Duke is hoping that quarterback Riley Leonard is going to be able to play this weekend against Florida State and reshape the ACC race.

Clemson is still seen as having a shot at the ACC title, despite having two conference losses. The Tigers head to Miami to play the Hurricanes this weekend and neither team can afford another loss if they want to keep their longshot hopes alive.

If you are looking for a real longshot, Caesars does list Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, NC State, and Pitt. The Yellow Jackets and Hokies only have one loss in conference play.

Syracuse, Wake Forest, Boston College, and Virginia were not listed.
