ACC Football: Week Eight Matchups, Times, and Channels

Florida State vs Duke headlines the ACC schedule for week eight

The week eight college football slate has been underway for a few days now with some midweek matchups, but the ACC does not begin play until this Saturday when some fun matchups take place that can impact the ACC title race.

The headliner of course is down in Tallahassee, where the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles host No. 16 Duke, a battle of two teams that are unbeaten in ACC play. The big question is going to be surrounding the health of Blue Devils quarterback Riley Leonard and whether he will be able to play tonight.

Clemson and Miami square off on Saturday and the loser will drop to 4-3. Miami has lost two straight games and Clemson is coming off of a bye week, which could mean problems for the Hurricanes, not to mention that Clemson has dominated this series lately.

Georgia Tech hosts Boston College in a game that both teams really need to win, North Carolina tries to avoid being upset by Virginia, and Wake Forest and Pitt also play each other in a game that both programs need to win to keep bowl hopes alive.

Here is a quick look at the slate of ACC games happening this weekend:

  • Boston College at Georgia Tech (-4.5): 12:00 p.m. ACC Network
  • Pitt at Wake Forest (-1): 3:30 p.m. ACC Network

  • No. 16 Duke at No. 4 Florida State (-14.5): 7:30 p.m. ABC
  • Clemson (-3) at Miami: 8:00 p.m. ACC Network
