Kickoff is getting closer here in Atlanta!

Georgia Tech comes into today's game against Bowling Green 2-2, but with a win today, the Yellow Jackets will be above .500 heading into October for the first time since 2017. 

Bowling Green is 1-3 this season and is coming off a blowout loss to Ohio, one of the best teams in the MAC. Just two weeks ago though, the Falcons played a close game against No. 2 Michigan for a half, so Georgia Tech is in no position to be taking anyone lightly.

Kickoff is 30 minutes away here in Atlanta. Georgia Tech is out here warming up in their new "Ghost" uniforms they are debuting today. 

1st Quarter

Malik Rutherford, Luke Benson, and Zeek Biggers were the captains today. Georgia Tech wins the toss and elects to receive. 

Great kick return by Christian Leary sets Georgia Tech up with great starting field position. 

Touchdown Georgia Tech! Haynes King hits Eric Singleton Jr for a 53-yard touchdown on the first play of the game and Georgia Tech leads 7-0 with 14:43 left in the first quarter. 

Georgia Tech is on the move and set up deep into Bowling Green territory

Touchdown Georgia Tech! King finds Christian Leary for a TD and the Yellow Jackets already have two touchdowns on two drives. The lead is 14-0 with 9:40 left in the first quarter

1st and 10 Bowling Green from their own 25-yard line

Bowling Green is into Georgia Tech territory now. 

Bowling Green touchdown. Camden Orth with a QB run to cut the lead to 14-7

Runner is ruled out of bounds. First and goal for Bowling Green. 

Bowling Green scores after a 10-play 75-yard drive. Georgia Tech leads 14-7 with 4:16 left in the first quarter

Leary's return will set up Georgia Tech to start its drive at their own 29 yard line

Georgia Tech goes three and out. Bowling Green will get the ball back

Holding penalty erases a big gain from Bowling Green. 1st and 20 for the Falcons

End of the 1st quarter and Georgia Tech leads 14-7. Bowling Green faces a third and long to start the quarter. Haynes King is 7-7 for 104 yards and two touchdowns

2nd Quarter

Three and out for the Georgia Tech offense. Bowling Green takes over at its own 36-yard line after the punt. 13:56 left in the first half. 

Bowling Green's field goal is good. Georgia Tech leads 14-10 with 8:27 left in the first half. 

After another special teams miscue, Bowling Green takes over on Georgia Tech's 40-yard line. 

Touchdown Bowling Green. Falcons lead Georgia Tech 17-14 with 2:37 left in the first half
