Indiana Cornerback James Monds III Enters Transfer Portal
James Monds III was once a big recruiting pickup for Indiana in the class of 2022, but the cornerback announced his decision to enter the transfer portal on Monday.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – James Monds III became the seventh Hoosier to enter the transfer portal after Sunday's firing of head coach Tom Allen.
Monds, a 5-foot-11, 180-pound cornerback, appeared in two games during the 2022 season and maintained his redshirt. In 2023, he played 10 games and 99 total snaps, making four total tackles.
Monds committed to Indiana as a three-star recruit, ranked No. 635 in the nation out of Vero Beach High School in Florida. He picked Indiana over several Big Ten schools and other Power 5 offers.
Monds has three years of remaining eligibility.
