Indiana Football National Signing Day: Updates, Player Bios

Here's a list of high school recruits and college transfers that signed with Indiana on Wednesday, the beginning of the early signing period.

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Wednesday marks the beginning of the early signing period for the 2024 football recruiting class.

Many of these players have already verbally committed to Indiana, but National Signing Day is when recruits can officially sign their letters of intent to a university.

Announcements will be rolling in throughout the day, and below is an updated list of Indiana's 2024 signees, both in the high school class and transfers.

Mark Langston, long snapper: Langston transfers to Indiana after long snapping for Georgia Southern and Kennesaw State. He joins the Hoosiers with two years of remaining eligibility.

Josh Philostin, cornerback: Philostin is a 5-foot-11, 175 pound cornerback from Cardinal Newman High School in West Palm Beach, Fla. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 506 overall, No. 38 among cornerbacks and No. 63 in Florida. He's played running back, wide receiver, kick returner, punt returner and also ran track throughout high school.

Tyler Cherry, quarterback: Cherry is a 6-foot-5, 205-pound quarterback from Center Grove High School in Greenwood, Ind. He was previously committed to Duke, but now Cherry is the sixth-highest ranked recruit in Indiana program history. He's a four-star recruit, ranked No. 263 in the nation, No. 17 among quarterbacks and No. 5 in Indiana. 

Daniel Ndukwe, edge: Ndukwe is a 6-foot-3, 225-pound edge rusher out of Arabia Mountain High School in Lithonia, Ga. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1659 in the nation, No. 113 among edges and No. 174 in Georgia. He was originally committed to James Madison.

Austin Leibfried, offensive line: Leibfried is a 6-foot-6, 265-pound offensive tackle from Mount Horeb, Wis. and is ranked as the No. 11 overall player in the state of Wisconsin in the class of 2024. He is a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1181 in the nation, No. 89 among tackles and No. 9 in Wisconsin.

Khobie Martin, running back: Martin is a 6-foot, 200-pound running back from Fishers High School in Indiana. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1424 in the nation, No. 106 among running backs and No. 20 in Indiana.

Mitch Verstegen, offensive line: Verstegen is a 6-foot-4, 300-pound offensive lineman from Kaukauna High School in Wisconsin. He's a three-star recruit, No. 1614 in the nation, No. 130 among interior offensive linemen and No. 14 in Wisconsin.

William Depaepe, edge: Depaepe is a 6-foot-7, 225-pound edge rusher out of Moline High School in Moline, Ill. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1115 in the nation, No. 78 among edges and No. 24 in Illinois. Depaepe was previously committed to Georgia Tech.

Jah Jah Boyd, defensive back: Boyd is a 5-foot-10, 170-pound defensive back from Roman Catholic High School in Philadelphia, Pa. He was originally committed to James Madison. Boyd is a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1250 in the nation, No. 125 among safeties and No. 35 in Pennsylvania.

Charlie Becker, wide receiver: Becker is a 6-foot-3 wide receiver from Father Ryan High School in Nashville, Tenn. He's a three-star recruit ranked No. 939 in the nation, No. 124 among wide receivers and No. 30 in Tennessee. Becker picked Indiana over offers from Iowa, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and others.

Mario Landino, defensive lineman: Landino was originally committed to James Madison, but flipped to Indiana when coach Curt Cignetti was hired to coach the Hoosiers. At 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, Landino attends Emmaus High School in Pennsylvania. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 2182 in the nation, No. 227 among defensive linemen and No. 58 in Pennsylvania.

Adedamola Ajani, offensive line: Ajani is a 6-foot-4, 270-pound offensive lineman from Speedway High School near Indianapolis, Ind. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 910 in the nation, No. 70 among interior offensive linemen and No. 10 in Indiana.

Alberto Mendoza, quarterback: Mendoza won back-to-back state championships at Columbus High School in Miami, Fla. He completed over 70% of his passes in both his junior and senior seasons. At 6-foot-2, Mendoza is a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1634 in the nation, No. 87 among quarterbacks and No. 207 in Florida. He was originally committed to James Madison.

Evan Lawrence, offensive line: Lawrence is a 6-foot-7, 250-pound offensive lineman from Danville Community High School in Indiana. He played defensive line and tight end before moving full-time to offensive line, and also plays basketball and track and field at Danville. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 1302 in the nation, No. 104 among offensive tackles and No. 18 in Indiana. 

Quentin Clark, linebacker: Clark is a 6-foot-3, 200-pound linebacker from West Laurens High School in Dexter, Ga., where he also played running back and ran track and field. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 960 in the nation, No. 85 among linebackers and No. 110 in Georgia.

Dontrae Henderson, defensive back: Henderson is a 6-foot-1, 170-pound defensive back from Julius L. Chambers High School in Charlotte, N.C. He's a three-star recruit, ranked No. 2083 in the nation, No. 206 among cornerbacks and No. 56 in North Carolina. Henderson was originally committed to James Madison, but flipped to Indiana when coach Curt Cignetti took over.

Brody Kosin, tight end: Kosin is a 6-foot-6, 225-pound tight end from Clarkston High School in Michigan. The three-star recruit was Indiana's first commitment in the class of 2024. Kosin is ranked No. 1209 in the nation, No. 65 among tight ends and No. 21 in Michigan. 

Ke'Shawn Williams, wide receiver: Across four seasons at Wake Forest, Williams finished with 1,385 receiving yards and five touchdowns. At 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, Williams played primarily slot receiver and has one year of remaining eligibility. 

Trey Wedig, offensive lineman: Wedig spent four seasons at Wisconsin, where he played both guard and tackle. He committed to Wisconsin as the 83rd-ranked player in the nation in the class of 2020 out of Kettle Moraine High School in Wisconsin. He has one year of eligibility.

Kurtis Rourke, quarterback: Rourke started 35 games across five seasons at Ohio, completing 638-of-963 passes (66.3%) for 50 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He was named 2022 MAC Offensive Player of the Year and earned second-team All-MAC honors in 2023. He has one year of eligibility.

Myles Price, wide receiver: Price is a 5-foot-10, 190-pound receiver from Texas Tech who totaled 1,751 yards and 10 touchdowns across four seasons. He played primarily in the slot and has one year of remaining eligibility.

Ty Son Lawton, running back: Lawton transfers to Indiana after four years at Stony Brook and one season at James Madison. With the Dukes in 2023, the 5-foot-9, 205-pound Lawton ran the ball 126 times for 568 yards and five touchdowns. He's rushed for 2,660 yards, 4.6 yards per carry and 26 touchdowns in his career.

Mikail Kamara, defensive lineman: Kamara was an All-Sun Belt second-team selection in 2023, making 17.5 tackles for loss. At 6-foot-1 and 265 pounds, Kamara has experience playing various positions, from end to tackle. He joins the Hoosiers with two years of eligibility.

Justice Ellison, running back: Across four seasons at Wake Forest, Ellison rushed for 1,909 yards, 15 touchdowns and 4.5 yards per carry. He was a third-team All-ACC selection in 2022, rushing for a career-high 707 yards. He has one year of eligibility.

Miles Cross, wide receiver: Cross played three seasons at Ohio where he caught passes from quarterback Kurtis Rourke, who's also transferring to Indiana. Cross totaled 105 receptions for 1,301 yards and eight touchdowns across three years. He has one year of remaining eligibility.
