ESPN's FPI rankings have the Kentucky football team ranked 24th
It's finally game week, which means we can take a look at what ESPN's FPI rankings have to say about the Kentucky Wildcats this season.
Kentucky is ranked 24th in the ESPN FPI rankings. The rankings predict the Cat's record to be somewhere in the 7.2-4.8 range.
The Wildcats have an 83% chance to win six games this season. The FPI rankings give Kentucky a 3.9% chance to win the SEC East, a 0.9% chance to win the SEC, a 1.2% chance to make the College Football Playoff, a 0.4% chance to make the National Championship game, and a 0.1% chance to win the National Championship.
When it comes to Kentucky's upcoming game against Ball State, the FPI rankings give the Cats a 91.6% chance to take down the Cardinals on Saturday.
These numbers will fluctuate throughout the season, and we will bring you an updated look at the FPI rankings every week.
I can't wait to see the Wildcats take the field on Saturday, and all of the Big Blue Nation feels the same way.
Lexington will be rocking for the first Caturday of the year.
