Running back Ray Davis discusses how he will feel scoring in a Kentucky uniform
Kentucky running back Ray Davis has scored a touchdown in Kroger Field before wearing the uniform of another SEC East team, but he is now excited to rock Kentucky blue.
After practice on Tuesday, I got to ask Davis how it would feel to score a touchdown in Kroger Field wearing blue in front of the home crowd.
David had this to say, "I hope the place is rocking. I'm going to try and find my mom my parents, and try to give them a little point in the crowd. I'm excited. I got to do it when I was at another school, but I'm here now wearing that blue and white. I'm going to try and score as many touchdowns as I can, and even if I don't score a touchdown, you'll still see me celebrating with my teammates in that endzone."
I love hearing Davis's excitement to score in a Kentucky uniform, but I also love hearing that he will support his teammates no matter who is scoring the touchdowns.
Davis is an incredibly kind and selfless player that all Kentucky fans will rally around this season.
I expect the Vanderbilt transfers to be one of the best running backs in the SEC this season.
