Kentucky Briefing: It's officially game week for the Wildcats
It's football time in the Bluegrass!
It might be Monday, but I can promise you this it is no ordinary Monday; it's game week Monday, meaning the Cats will prepare to face off against the Ball State Cardinals.
The question of the day is what we do want to see on the field Saturday against Ball State?
The answer to that has everything to do with which scheme and offensive line play.
The coaching staff will wait to pull all of the tricks out of the bag until week four against Vandy or even week five against Florida.
There is no reason to show off everything you have against Ball State, EKU, and Akron.
I do want to see the offensive line making holes for the running backs and giving Devin Leary time.
I am anxious to see how Leary looks throwing the football, and I hope he is putting the ball right on the money.
If the Wildcats put up a ton of points and the offense flows well, it will be a sign of positives to come this season for Mark Stoops's squad.
Football is back, and I can feel the buzz all throughout Lexington.
