Kentucky basketball had eight former players tabbed 25 best SEC players from the past decade

This list is a reminder as to why Kentucky is one of the best basketball programs of all time.

A rankings list came out from Fan Sided that ranked the top 25 SEC basketball players from the last decade (2013-2023).

The Wildcats had eight players listed in the Top 25, which was the most of any school by a wide margin.

Let's take a look at which Cats landed on this list and where they were.

22. Jamal Murray

18. Immanuel Quickley

13. Julius Randle

12. Willie Cauley-Stein

8. Malik Monk

6. Karl-Anthony Towns

5. Tyler Ulis

1. Oscar Tshiebwe

It is wild how good these players were in college and how many of them have gone on to impressive NBA careers.

Murray just won the NBA Championship last season with the Denver Nuggets.

Coach Cal has done an incredible getting the players at Kentucky to live their dreams of playing in the NBA.

The success of players moving onto the NBA has continued to help the Wildcats on the recruiting trail as it did with the 2023 class as Kentucky landed players like Justin Edwards, DJ Wagner, and Aaron Bradshaw.

Kentucky is one of the best programs in college hoops history, and this list shows you why.
