Ole Miss Rebels Lane Kiffin Takes Shot at SEC Rival?

It appears Ole Miss Rebels coach Lane Kiffin called out a rival SEC West program over the weekend.
In this story:

OXFORD, Miss. -- The Ole Miss Rebels had a busy weekend of recruitment with Juice Fest in town to help break in the newly renovated Manning Center, but coach Lane Kiffin still had time to hop on Twitter and stir things up a bit.

Kiffin has bolstered his roster via the NCAA Transfer Portal this offseason but he has also been vocal about the "disaster" the NIL policy has created for college recruitment.

The Rebels' coach unapologetically bashed the current state of college football at the 2023 SEC Media Days on July 20, expressing that recruitment has essentially become free agency and that the best players will go where the most money is.

Kiffin kept it short but took to Twitter on Saturday to send out a cryptic tweet that many believe is directed at an SEC Rival.

Kiffin tweeted out a story by ESPN about Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola. In the article, Guardiola makes comments about how Saudi money has impacted where soccer players choose to sign, evident by the increasing number of athletes choosing to play in the Saudi league.

Sounds awfully similar to Kiffin's plight with NIL.

"Sounds like what ..... ... did!" -- Kiffin via Twitter.

Kiffin did not say Texas A&M specifically, but it can be heavily implied that he was referring to how the Aggies have embraced NIL under coach Jimbo Fisher. Kiffin famously took shots at Fisher and the Aggies ahead of their matchup in 2022, "We got outbid. Kind of common theme with that program," Kiffin said.

The feud between Kiffin and Fisher appears to be alive and well.
