Every Rebel That Made An NFL 53-Man Roster

The 23 Ole Miss Rebels who were able to keep their NFL dreams alive after Tuesday's roster cutdown are spread out across 19 teams.
In this story:

The NFL had its one big set of roster cutdowns Tuesday at 3 p.m. CT, and 23 Ole Miss Rebels survived to keep their dream alive.

There were 19 teams that kept an Ole Miss football player on its initial 53-man active roster. While many only had one former Rebel, the Green Bay Packers and Los Angeles Chargers both kept two a piece, and the Carolina Panthers led the way with three.

The bunch is headlined by 2022 Pro Bowlers: Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown, Buffalo Bills tight end Dawson Knox and Houston Texans tackle Laremy Tunsil.

Of the Rebels' four draftees in 2023 — wide receiver Jonathan Mingo, linebacker Tavius Robinson, running back Zach Evans and offensive lineman Nick Broeker — only Broeker missed the final cut.

With the fluidity of an NFL roster on a week-to-week basis, this is only an initial look at who made the cut to the active roster. Many former Rebels have the opportunity to get signed later in the season or to a team's practice squad after clearing waivers.
