OXFORD, Miss. -- Four-star quarterback Trever Jackson announced his pledge to the Ole Miss Rebels on Saturday afternoon via social media, adding another big-time commitment to Lane Kiffin's 2024 recruitment class.

The programs in the running for Jackson's commitment included Ole Miss, the Texas A&M Aggies, Oklahoma Sooners, and UCLA Bruins. Jackson also received offers from the Penn State Nittany Lions, Missouri Tigers, and Pittsburgh Panthers.

According to On3 rankings, Jackson is rated as the No. 34 recruit in the state of Florida and the No. 16 quarterback in the 2024 cycle. The 6-foot-3, 190-pound signal-caller is listed as the No. 252 overall prospect in 2024.

The Winter Garden, Fla., native started his senior season with Jones High School on Friday night and flashed his dual-threat ability with a rushing touchdown that can be seen here.

The Rebels have been hot on the recruitment trail, as Jackson is the 22nd recruit to pledge to Ole Miss in the 2024 cycle and the third blue chip prospect the program has added in the last week, joining five-star Kamarion Franklin and four-star Noreel White

Jackson's pledge gives the Rebels a quarterback commit for their 2024 class after four-star Demond Williams decommitted from Ole Miss in July.

Jackson visited Ole Miss in July and the quarterback reportedly really liked what he saw in Kiffin's program. Kiffin has a history with the Jackson family, as he coached their older son while he was with the FAU Owls.

"The visit was really good and I like what Ole Miss is doing," Jackson told On3. "Lane Kiffin has a history with quarterbacks, they have a high-powered offense and he is an offensive wizard.”
