PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers are set to take on Wake Forest this week but there's a chance the Demon Deacons might not be at full strength by the time they visit the Petersen Events Center.

Wake Forest head coach Steve Forbes said ahead of a trip to Pitt that his team is dealing with some illnesses inside his team, as can be expected sometimes with cold and flu season in full swing.

Wake Forest used an off weekend for some rest and recovery but their . Returning to play and traveling in the middle of the week certainly won't make containing the illnesses any easier. There's no guarantee it will keep any critical Demon Deacons sidelined, but could limit their practice time or abilities on gameday.

The Panthers, on the other had, are still dealing with one significant injury to Jorge Diaz Graham, who's been sidelined indefinitely with a hurt ankle. Meanwhile, Jaland Lowe is gradually getting back to 100% after a preseason injury and Ishmael Leggett is also fully healthy after suffering a shoulder injury earlier in ACC play.
