PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers had just ripped off a 13-play, 64-yard drive that not only ate up nearly seven minutes, but ended in a touchdown that gave them a leapfrog lead over the No. 14 Louisville and they made another splash play that turned the game on its head.

Louisville was driving deep into Pitt territory when Jack Plummer unleashed an errant throw that fell straight into M.J. Devonshire's arms. He proceeded to take the ball back 86 yards for a touchdown to give the Panthers a 31-21 lead over one of the ACC's last three unbeaten teams.

It is the third interception return of Devonshire's career, with both coming last season, and at 86 yards, is the longest of his career. It is also the longest interception return for a touchdown for the Panthers since September of 1997 when Chiffon Allen took one back 97 yards against Houston.

Plummer then threw another redzone interception on the ensuing possession, when a pass caromed off his receiver's hands and into A.J. Woods' grasp.
