Pitt's Brandon Hill Runs Fastest 40 of NFL Combine Safeties
INDIANAPOLIS -- For the second day in a row, a Pitt Panther has stolen the show at the NFL Combine by burning the rest of the prospects in their position group with a blazing 40-yard dash time.
Brandon Hill, a three-year veteran Panther from Apopka, Florida, clocked a 4.43-second 40-yard dash, just edging out California's Daniel Scott for the best time of any safety at the NFL Combine by two hundredths of a second.
A day before, his teammate and defensive tackle Calijah Kancey set a Combine record with his 4.67-second official time that beat out former Panther Aaron Donald for the fastest 40-yard dash ever run by a player weighing 280 pounds or more. Kancey told everyone to "stay tuned" for the 40-yard dash when he spoke with media earlier in the week. Hill also said he wanted to showcase his explosiveness and they both delivered.
