PITTSBURGH -- Jaremiah Anglin Jr., a three-star safety according to 247Sports, is spending the weekend in the Steel City, visiting the Pitt Panthers as he continues to field Power Five scholarship offers. The coveted defensive back from Lake Wales, Florida has clearly enjoyed his visit, because he included the Panthers in a list of his top eight schools on Friday afternoon.

The Panthers are joined by Tennessee, Alabama, Penn State, Jackson State, Florida State, Kentucky and UCF in Anglin's final set of offers that he will weigh this summer and into the beginning of his senior year at Lake Wales High School.

Anglin, the cousin of former Florida State and current Los Angeles Chargers star Derwin James, holds 24 offers in all. Florida, Miami, South Carolina, Nebraska and West Virginia were some of the others involved in recruiting Anglin up until today.

As a junior, Anglin starred on both sides of the ball for Lake Wales. He recorded 84 tackles and five interceptions while also amassing 358 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

A pair of Florida State insiders at 247Sports, Zach Blostein and Josh Newberg, crystal-balled Anglin to the Seminoles back in early March.
