PITTSBURGH -- At the same time he's making the rounds for official visits to Power 5 schools around the country, Pitt Panthers defensive line target Dominic Kirks is rising up national recruiting rankings.

Kirks, who moved his Pitt visit up to the first weekend of June and canceled a trip to Kentucky immediately after, is now rated as a four-star prospect, the No. 25 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 21 player in Ohio.

Kirks, a 6'5 and 250-pound edge defender, is rated as a four-star prospect by On3 and a three-star player by 247Sports. On3 ranks him as high as the No. 11 player in Ohio and the No. 28 defensive lineman nationally in the class of 2024.

The 6'5, 250-pound junior has already been out to Seattle to see Washington this spring and visited Ohio State, Cincinnati, and West Virginia earlier this year. After visiting Wisconsin this past weekend, Kirks will head back to Pacific Northwest to visit the Huskies again.
