PITTSBURGH -- The Pitt Panthers will know if they've landed a four-star defensive lineman in about a week.

Dominic Kirks, a four-star defensive lineman in the class of 2024 from Cleveland, Ohio, has already named a final five of Pitt, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Nebraska and Washington and now he's ready to commit. Kirks will make his final decision in a little over a week.

He moved up his Pitt visit a week and walked away impressed by all accounts. Then Kikrs canceled an ensuing official visit to Kentucky before rounding out his summer visit schedule.

Kirks, a 6'5 and 250-pound edge defender, is rated as a four-star prospect by On3 and 247Sports. On3 ranks him as high as the No. 11 player in Ohio and the No. 28 defensive lineman nationally in the class of 2024.

The 6'5, 250-pound junior has already been out to Seattle to see Washington twice this spring and summer and visited Ohio State, Cincinnati, Wisconsin and West Virginia earlier this year.
