Marcelin is unanimously considered a three-star prospect. On3 ranks him as high as the No. 66 player in the Sunshine State, while Rivals and 247Sports have him pegged at No. 85 and No. 101, respectively. Rivals also ranked him the No. 36 linebacker in the class of 2024.

He cut an impressive offer sheet that included Tennessee, Auburn, Stanford, Florida State, Miami, UCF, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, West Virginia, Kentucky, Syracuse and others down to those select three.
