PITTSBURGH -- Four-star wide receiver Keylen Adams had already released a list of his top four schools back in February but after a hot 

West Virginia and Penn State are out and South Carolina, Alabama, Ohio State are in alongside two returners - Pitt and Virginia Tech. Adams says he will commit in July. 

Adams, a unanimous four-star recruit and consensus top-three player in the class of 2024 in the state of Virginia, is also ranked as high as the No. 19 wide receiver (ESPN) and No. 158 player (On3) in the class. 

The dynamic athlete from Virginia Beach and Green Run High School held offers from North Carolina, Miami, Maryland, Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, Auburn, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Ole Miss, NC State, Duke, Syracuse, Virginia, Boston College and many others.

Stephen Thompson graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications and political science from Pitt in April 2022 after spending four years as a sports writer and editor at The Pitt News, the University of Pittsburgh's independent, student-run newspaper.  He primarily worked the Pitt men's basketball beat, and filled in on coverage of football, volleyball, softball, gymnastics and lacrosse, in addition to other sports as needed. His work at The Pitt News has won awards from the Pennsylvania News Media Association and Associated College Press.  During the spring and summer of 2021, Stephen interned for Pittsburgh Sports Now, covering baseball in western Pennsylvania.
