FanDuel Lists Early 2024 Win Total Over/Under For South Carolina Football

South Carolina's football team is looking to make it back to the postseason in 2024, and one gambling site believes they'll be cutting it close either way.

As the college football offseason wears on, fans and bettors are looking ahead to next season's potential outcomes. FanDuel, a reputable source for sports betting odds, has released its college football win total odds for the upcoming season. Among the various insights, the South Carolina Gamecocks' win total over/under has been set at 5.5, reflecting the challenging schedule ahead.

Under the guidance of head coach Shane Beamer, the Gamecocks will face a gauntlet of formidable opponents. With a mix of prestigious programs and rising contenders on their schedule, South Carolina will be mentally and physically challenged in the coming season. The slate includes matchups against some of the nation's top teams, with Alabama leading the pack at a win total over/under of 9.5.

Additional hurdles for the Gamecocks come in clashes with Clemson, Ole Miss, Missouri, and LSU, with three of those four games being at home. They also face Texas A&M, projected with 8.5 wins. With games against Oklahoma and Kentucky, both sitting at 6.5 wins, with Vanderbilt also at 2.5.
