Spencer Rattler Named MVP Of The Reese's Senior Bowl
It has been a pretty good seven-day period for Spencer Rattler. After going through several practices down in Mobile, AL with players that Rattler had never played a down of organized football with outside of receiver Xavier Legette, the Arizona native was voted the best quarterback on the American team by opposing defenders. He also earned praise from several respectable names in the NFL scouting and analysis community.
On Saturday, Rattler put a bow on the entire week by leading the American team on what wound up being their only scoring drive of the day and finished the game 4 for 4 passing with 65 yards and one touchdown. Due to his play, Spencer was named the Reese's Senior Bowl's most valuable player.
In terms of what the week has been like, Rattler seemed to have a positive experience, saying "It's been a blessing being around great coaches, great people, [and] just create relationships with these guys that I've known coming up and competed against."
