BREAKING: Kickoff Time Announced For South Carolina vs Mississippi State Game
The South Carolina Gamecocks have made significant improvements under Shane Beamer over the past two seasons, and in 2022, pulled off multiple victories against teams they weren't expected to defeat as far as national experts were concerned: Kentucky, Texas A&M, Tennessee, and Clemson. This has led to the television networks growing fond of the program and putting them in more evening time slots.
The Gamecocks played in ABC's primetime slot in week one against North Carolina and at 7:30 against Furman this past weekend. You chalk up another late-night kick when they take on the Mississippi State Bulldogs in week four, as the game will kick off at 7:30 PM ET on the SEC Network.
It shows both how much progress the team has made under Beamer and how much respect they've garnered for their performance on the biggest of stages. Should the Gamecocks find a way to knock off the Bulldogs from the west division that week, they'll likely see more evening time slots this season.
