BREAKING: Liam Andrews Announces Commitment Date

South Carolina Football target Liam Andrews has announced when he's going to make his college decision.

While Shane Beamer and the Gamecocks have plenty of blue-chip prospects remaining on their board, they don't know precisely when each of these targets will be committing, which can make things a little more stressful for the coaching staff and the fanbase. However, one target whose commitment date we previously did not know has cleared the air on his timeline, as two-way lineman Liam Andrews will make his college decision on July 21st.

While announcing his commitment date, Andrews also clarified who his three finalists were: South Carolina, Penn State, and Wisconsin. Each program has hosted Andrews for multiple visits, so it makes sense why they all made the cut for the Massachusetts native. The Gamecocks have missed out on several interior defensive line prospects to this point in the process due to their competition and a coaching change that took place this Spring, but landing Andrews would go a long way toward offsetting some of those lost recruiting battles from earlier in the cycle.
