Toms River North offensive tackle Jaelyne Matthews has taken a liking to the Vols in recent months. It all started when he tweeted at Brentwood Academy quarterback George MacIntyre following his commitment; Matthews asked if MacIntyre needed any offensive lineman to accompany him at the University of Tennessee.

A few weeks later, Matthews took his first unofficial visit to Knoxville, Tennessee. The coaching staff did a strong job making him feel welcome during his first time in town, and he's now scheduled an official visit for this summer. Matthews will return to Rocky Top on June 14; he's scheduled an official visit with the Georgia Bulldogs for June 21 and plans to make trips to Rutgers and Syracuse.

Matthews ranks as the No. 98 prospect in the 2025 class, according to the 247Sports' Composite Rankings. He stands 6-5 and 290 pounds and is one of Tennessee's top targets at the offensive tackle position, where they currently don't have any commits in the 2025 class.
