A group of Fresno State football players made their acting debuts in a unique NIL opportunity over the holidays to support the Central California Blood Center.

Coordinated in partnership with Bulldog Sports Properties and Fresno State Athletics, the Blood Center’s “One More Time” campaign helped raise awareness for the ongoing need for blood donations in California's Central Valley.

“This was our first opportunity as a NIL department to do a fully comprehensive NIL deal," Fresno State's Director of NIL, Aaron Mitchell shared with the Fresno Business Journal. "It was a chance to have 11 football players get their first taste at a NIL deal and the work that comes with it.”

Senior wide receiver Mac Dalena and offensive lineman Jacob Isaia were among the Bulldogs who took part in the commercial shoot for such an important cause.

“Every donation counts. Join us in the life-saving act of giving blood, for in this act of kindness, a single donation can be the lifeline someone desperately needs,” said Arax Martirosian, director of marketing & donor recruitment for Central California Blood Center. “Let’s come together once more to donate blood today and become the reason someone celebrates tomorrow.”

“Hats off to the 11 Bulldog football players that represented our brand correctly and in a professional manner,” Mitchell added. “That’s what it’s all about.”

Fresno State finished their season 9-4 after winning their fifth-straight bowl game, defeating New Mexico State, 37-10 in the Isleta New Mexico Bowl.

The Central California Blood Center has previously partnered with MLB star and former Bulldog star Aaron Judge of the New York Yankees on blood drive campaigns. Judge, who last season won the league's Roberto Clemente Award for character, community involvement and philanthropy had his jersey retired by Fresno State.
