Your Los Angeles Angels are back at it again as they definitely listened to Phil Nevin's advice and did not get caught up in Monday's success. Jaime Barria took the mound for the Halos and he was definitely a bit shaky in those first four innings as he totaled a pitch count of 93 while allowing seven hits and four runs. LA found themselves in a 3-1 hole at the bottom of the fifth thanks to a Corey Seager home run.

However, a total of five members from the Halos' bullpen would see action last night and they were elite. Only two more runs were allowed for the rest of the game with zero runs and the responsibility was then placed on the offense to make their comeback and win the game.

And the batters heard these orders loud and clear as it was none other than Anthony Rendon who got the ball rolling when he grounded out in the sixth inning but Seager's throw was a bit off and Shohei Ohtani was able to make it home to give LA another run.

We've seen LA's bats freeze up down the line even with the score close multiple times this season but that wasn't the case on Tuesday. Hunter Renfroe, who just got back from welcoming his newborn daughter to the world, had plenty to be excited about and connected on a huge two-run homer to give the Halos a 4-3 lead. As Erica Weston said... Dad Strength!!

Things calmed down for a while after that with neither team able to produce many hits or bring any of their runners in. But these dry periods have recently seen rookie SS Zach Neto step up to the plate and change everything.

And he opted to do just that once again as he chimed in with his own two-run bomb that brought Chad Wallach home along with him.

Finally, Brandon Drury brought Ohtani home once again in the ninth to give LA one more run with his single and that allowed your Angels to win their eighth out their last nine games with a final score of 7-3.

It's safe to say Renfroe is very excited for them to continue this momentum.

“We knew this was gonna happen,” Renfroe said of the team’s recent hot streak. “We knew we were going to play good baseball eventually. I think the first month we weren’t pitching well or weren’t hitting. Finally, come here this month we’re really playing really good baseball. We’re starting to heat up.”

We'll see everybody at 5:05 pm PT!
