WATCH: Eddie Rosario ties the game late!
Eddie Rosario is MONEY.
The left fielder, up to bat with a pinch-runner on 1st (Nick Solak, running for Sean Murphy) and a one-run deficit, gave Atlanta the lead via single up the right field line, just past a diving Garrett Cooper and all the way to the right field corner.
Marvel at this masterclass in timely hitting:
Solak, called up just today from AAA Gwinnett, slipped on his way around second, but had time to recover and score on the play to tie the game at four each.
The Braves followed that up with a single by Vaughn Grissom and an infield error on a batted ball by Marcell Ozuna to take a 6-4 lead, knocking reliever Dylan Florio from the game and spoiling a great start by Sandy Alcantara.
Atlanta finishes the series tomorrow at 12:20 ET, broadcast on Bally Sports South. The radio call, with Ben Ingram, is available locally on 680 AM/93.7 FM The Fan or outside the Atlanta market on the Atlanta Braves Radio Network or MLB.com.
