Bengals Defensive Lineman Zach Carter Showing Signs For a Strong 2023 Season

Cincinnati could have a very deep defensive line rotation this coming season.

CINCINNATI — Bengals defensive tackle Zach Carter is showing some nice progress in his second NFL training camp.

Carter has made a few splash plays throughout practice periods over the past month and leads all Bengals defensive linemen in pass-rush win rate this preseason (min. 10 snaps).

Carter is a bit of a fulcrum depth piece along the line. If he hits in Year 2, Cincinnati will have one of the deepest interiors in the league and plenty of fresh snaps for players like DJ Reader and B.J. Hill.

The Florida product posted 23 tackles and a half-sack last season.
