CINCINNATI Joe Burrow conducted a spirited press conference on Saturday describing how it felt to sign his new extension with the Bengals. Burrow envisioned this from the moment he met with Zac Taylor at the 2020 NFL Combine.

Burrow said they've accomplished everything from Taylor's vision that day.

Well, almost everything.

"As soon as I met with Zac at the combine, I saw his vision immediately," Burrow said. "Saw how he verbalized his vision, and there were a lot of people in the room as well. Mr. Brown, Katie (Blackburn), Troy, everybody. The vision was very clear and so after that meeting, you know, I was bought in... Exactly according to plan, well not quite exactly. Hopefully, that will get done this year."

Burrow noted in the session that his only football failure was not taking Ohio State to a national championship when he was with the Buckeyes.

The Ohio native is ready to bring the first Super Bowl to this state.

Cincinnati has gotten to the doorstep of a title each of the past two seasons. They enter this season as one of the betting favorites to lift the Lombardi in a year where they've boosted the offensive line and largely kept the rest of the roster together.

Now, Burrow's got a clear mind entering arguably the most-anticipated Bengals season ever.
