In this story:

CINCINNATI — The Bengals signed tight end Zach Gentry and defensive end Garrett Nelson to their practice squad on Tuesday. They also released linebacker Tyler Murray. 

Gentry is a fifth-year player out of the University of Michigan. He was originally was a fifth-round pick by Pittsburgh in 2019. He's played in 40 regular-season games (26 starts) for the Steelers, catching 39 passes for 303 yards.

Nelson is a rookie from the University of Nebraska. He was cut by the Dolphins after recording five tackles and one sack in three preseason games. 

The Bengals currently have 16 players on their practice squad.
